I have long said that print magazines, like vinyl records and film, will eventually become a niche indulgence for those inclined to pay a premium for the sensory experiences unique to analog media. News of a price hike for print mags is even less surprising on the heels of reports as to where magazine conglomerates are placing their bets on the future of mainstream content consumption.
